Since I have occasionally (constantly) documented certain aspects of my personal life here on the blog, I almost feel as though it would be awkward NOT to mention the teeny tiny recent development in my neck of the woods...

I'M ENGAGED!!!!!
Halfway through a long bike ride Joe popped the question during our PP&J picnic and I said yes.   Well, first I said "oh my god what the BLEEP are you doing!?" and then I said yes.  Yay!!

You may not know from looking at that incredibly glamorous shot of me above, but I am something of a tomboy.  Luckily Joe
(and Denise!) knows my style well and got me onllyyyyyyyy the coolest not-too-girliest ring ever....
Soooo anyway...I'm not really the type to burst into a room waving her left hand around yelling "I'M ENGAGED YA'LL!!!" but I wanted to keep my faithful readers (hi Mom and Dad!) in the know.  Just kidding, my parents already know.  Obbbvvvviously.

We are very happy <3

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT back to work.  Nothing to see here.

Not gonna lie folks.  I'm proud of these images.

Rachel and Bo:  Made their dogs a part of their wedding, met in the Peace Corps, had a reading of "Oh The Places You'll Go" during their ceremony, performed an Irish Jig at the reception...HOT DAMN do I need to say more!?

Here's ridiculously photogenic and always-glowing Rachel getting ready with her gals...
Two of my favorite pictures to date.  Like, ever.  The stunning bride in the setting sun.  End of story.
My new favorite thing to do at weddings??  Catching people's reactions as the bride walks down the aisle....priceless.
Rachel and Bo wrote their own vows.  Bo's were heartfelt and emotional, Rachel's were eloquent and filled with so much wisdom.
Married!
OBJECTS ON BLOG MAY BE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR.  I should add "bad ass" to my About Me page.  I climbed up on the rock wall for a different angle and made a new friend.  Hey friend, thanks for not biting me in the behind.
Verdict?  Worth the risk...
Get along lil' doggies!
Some candids of Rachel, gurlll was absolutely GLOWING all day.  Stunning.  Again.
The reception was held in a barn.  Beautiful beautiful BEAUTIFUL!
CUTE RECEPTION DRESS CHANGE, COWBOY BOOTS AND IRISH JIG ALERT!
Rachel and Bo...what can I say?  THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of your special day.  Cheers!

Yesterday, on a little farm in Pennsylvania, two beautiful people were married under a big oak tree in the setting sun.  So so so sooo many more images to share but I had to post a sneaky peek of Rachel and Bo's big day.  Hope everyone is having an amazing weekend!

HOWDY!  Let me just take a minute to express how much I LOVE these types of sessions.  YES, of course photography is important at major life events, but I love the idea of taking an hour or so to capture your family on a regular old day.

That's exactly what my photogafriend Tricia had in mind when she asked me to tag along with her husband Nick and puppy dog Odie to the park.  They celebrated their 4 year wedding anniversary a few days ago (congrats!!) and after 2 minutes it is clear...these two are still oh-so-in-love and super cute.

I'm gonna start with my favorite image.  Gillies, you best be taking notes.  Odie is AWESOME.  He was a natural poser <3.
Sorry Odie, I'm pretty sure this next one is my real favorite <3
The happy family...
Hey dimples.  Hey EYES.  GORGEOUS gurl!
Here's Nick serving up an old-fashioned wet willy and Tricia retaliating with some zombie apocalypse preperation...her words, not mine!
I'll just announce again to all future clients - if you are willing to lay in the grass in your fancy clothes...I will love you forever...

It's been 10 days since I blogged.  Shame on me.  Blog-slacking?  Guilty as charged.

To try to redeem myself I grabbed a few shots of Casey, his shovel and baby Claire tonight in my parent's backyard.

"Hey Aunt Cafrine, this is how you hold scissors"
"You hold them with the sharp part down"
"This top sharp part could hurt someone"
"Hey Mom!  That crazy camera lady is over there...lets go say hi!"
"Hey Lady"
I totally played my sister in these like Nanny in The Muppet Babies.  I swear she exists!!!
